Our Requirements:
5 mil SP or have experience in PvP if less than 5mil SP.*
You MUST be willing to participation in the corp. Be that PvP, corp mining ops, or just being a helpful person.
Pass a background check conducted by one of our senior recruiters.
Have an interview with our recruiters. Maybe multiple interviews.
We REQUIRE a FULL ACCOUNT WIDE API during the background check.
Mumble/TS3, forums, and Jabber/IRC clients are required. Must be willing to keep Jabber/IRC on in the background even if not playing Eve.

Here's my experience with UVIM.

This corp was the first nullsec group to take me in, God help them. They taught me how not to embarrass myself in a fleet, and immediately dragged me out to the Fountain War back in the day. Through deployments, coalition and alliance moves, and changing politics, the core group stuck together and treat each other like family.

About a year ago, I ran into a really rough time in my personal life. Lost a job, a forced cross-country move, etc. Pretty crappy. You know who checked on me regularly and stayed in touch, even when I had dropped corp for a while to try new things? UVIM people.

EVE is a social game. Sure, we go for the throat in New Eden. But what holds it together and makes it worth are the bonds you form with people in-game.
