Before I start I would like to say I don't like mining, this is an observation I have made from people who do mine asking for my advise so I ran some numbers to double check.

So after update they mine the exact same.

Skiff is clearly more tanky where as the Mack has a larger cargo.

Is it just me or is there any point in even flying a Mack anymore ? There utterly useless. The Mack has no advantage over the Skiff at all bar it's cargo bay which stands for **** with the amount of gankers around so you may aswell just fly the Skiff for it's tank, atleast then 1 ship won't insta pop you and you might actualy stand a chance. Lol.

Even saying that the Skiffs cargo is'nt all that bad. The Skiff even has more PG and CPU to play with to maxmize your tank to stop solo/small team ganks. Even I know if someone wants it blown up there aint enough tank to stop it. Lol.

Am I missing something or are CCP actualy that stupid ? Lol.

Before the patch I hated gankers, purely on the basis of you can't stop them from getting away with it. Now after the patch, anyone flying a Mack kinda deserves it. Why sacrifice so much tank on a little extra cargo ? So they can sit there for slightly longer and AFK ? It's stupid.

I really hope I am missing something here...

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

You lost me after that.

Why would a person ask you for advice about something you don't give a **** about? I'd tell that person quite literally to **** off.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

You pretty much nailed it.

Mackinaw is not a very wise choice for mining and the Hulk is not that much better. I have very little sympathy for miners losing Mackinaw and Hulk in High Sec.

I would argue that the Skiff is not a useful boat outside High Security space. In Nul Space the Procurer should be the mining platform of choice simply because it is 1/6 of the price of the Skiff for a too similar profile.

No point in risking a 200 Mil boat (fitted) when a 30 Mil (fitted) will do the same job.
