EVE: THE SECOND DECADE COLLECTOR’S EDITION unused codes

How are CCP dealing with our unusable codes, like for the nonredeemable DUST Amarr weapons and a collection of “Templar” drop-suits or the 99.7% of the of EVE's player base that doesn't own VR for the Templar Mark II Prototype.

Can you see it in your heart of hearts that we get something that we can use in, lets say EVE?
Its been almost 3 years folks, that isn't even "STEAM SOON™".

Together with several RL items that are (where) making it worth buying the box in the first place, I count at least eight redeemable/usable in game things for EvE, one for Dust and one for Valkyrie.

And still you want more? Right.....What?

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

We brought the collectors edition knowing those codes were for those games, with no guarantee that any of the games would continue to exist or that the codes would be transferrable to Eve.

So, I don't like the chances of freebies for Eve based on our lack of willingness to purchase a VR headset, or because DUST no longer exists.

The whole mystery code was a commitment CCP made without really thinking about what it meant and without planning how they would deliver in the long term, what they claimed at the time.

Safer to just cut perceived losses and forget about the mystery codes all together. A bit like the veteran station.

Personally i cared for like a year. Then i decided that i got what i wanted. Now i'm indifferent to what CCP said.

Look at what they do and not what they say.

IMO You bought the stuff that came with it and the redeemable items were candy and sweetner. If that stuff doesnt hold enough value to you then you really shouldnt have bought it in the first place. Asking for more stuff 3 years later on after purchase is rather silly.

Have you heard anything I've said?

The only thing missing is the EVE Valkyrie fighter, which is currently being put together, and will be available within the next quarter, as far as I'm aware.

As for the mystery code, we're currently deciding what we'd like to do with it and how we'd like to move forward, given that EVE, our payment and redemption services, and a lot of other factors will be changing in November.

So shut the fork up. At least that's how it reads.

What CCP doesn't seem to learn is that 'no' is also an answer. Just tell us that the mystery code will not give anything else and stop behaving mystious about it. The "we are discussing" story has been told for two years now and questions about it will be asked again and again.

Be clear and honest to your customers. Even when it's an answer they don't like, they will accept it.

All things being equal; you probably should have figured out a purpose for that code BEFORE giving it out three years ago. Just a thought.
