IdeaIdeas to help make the game a little better. I'm not a pro at the game, as of this post I've only been around about 2 months and these are just things I've noticed.

1. When the repair button is pressed there should be a REPAIR ALL button at the bottom instead of needing to highlight everything.

2. Go watch the anime Cowboy Bebop to get ideas for how space could look better/cooler. :)

3. Do something to make ore mining a little more profitable. (Make normal auto-mining still work like normal but have option to actually do something while mining to increase yield, something that an auto-mining program wouldn't be able to do. Or Super rare random pieces of superb ore that you sometimes happen upon but only if your actually searching during the mining process or something. )

4. Change rules for cloaking a tiny bit. Make it so if people don't touch the keyboard after a certain amount of minutes it will make the cloak turn off, or make it so people can detect them when they scan. This will help fix it with people who just have alts who all they do is sit there in a zone in a cloaked ship only to get info.

5. Change it so there isn't a LOCAL tab for chat since hardly anyone ever uses it. Create a single spot that isn't a chat channel at the top of the screen. It goes maybe a couple lines of tiny words at like 20 characters or less and only in extreme local space like within 1 AU so during battles people wont just be shooting each other but they will be yelling at each other letting each other know how much they suck. Make it so it only shows up for a second or two then its gone. call it the "YOU SUCK" line.

6. A different option for chat is take a look at the way Everquest 2 does their chat channels. Each chat channel has a number so you can type /1 blahblah and it goes to the general chat. Or you type /2 blahblah and that goes to your Corporation chat channel. It would be good to just take a look at other games chat and maybe you might find something to make Eve chat better.


If you don't like my ideas please let me know a better idea and how it could work. That would be great!

Increasing mineral supply will not make mining more profitable.

Cloaking is fine and working as it's supposed to. People who cry about cloaked people in their system are wendy's.

No. We don't need eve's nice little chat system turning into the clusterfk that wow or other games have. If I had to type slashes before everything I wanted to say, and still end up speaking in the wrong channel (or to nobody at all?) I'd lose my ****.
