Flower Blooms and Other Wonderful Things

Good day to you, reader,

My name is Zekiel, of House Iyhr. Due to... Ah... circumstances out of my control, I have been unable to properly maintain and/or otherwise care for my private greeneries within my Holdings. As a result, as tragic as it may sound, many of my most prized specimens of flowers have met their end. Instead of clutching to the past glory of my now-passed flowers, I have now begun a different project. This is where my post here comes into play.

If you are an individual who believes themselves in possession of exotic, unique, or otherwise prized flora, and would like to not only share the beauty of said flora but assist in the proliferation of it, I request that you please contact me either in a mail or within this very thread.

I would love to repopulate my greeneries and open them to the public, so it is not only I who experiences the natural beauty of God's creations. Credit will be given for each donor or, if need be, seller.

I have all of those things but with a caveat.
They need to be underwater.

Bulbs and live specimens of the Dar-al Barakah Crimson are on their way.

It's a tulip that is as beautiful as it is low-maintenance. Just don't do what I did as a boy which was to dig the bulb up each day to "see how much it's growing".

Mr. Iyhr; if you'd like, have your staff contact Itsukame-Zainou personnel handling the IZV Botanica Zainou's garden deck. While it's not nearly as prolific a garden as the Isseras headquarters facility, it's still an excellent collection of diverse flora, including a variety of medicinal herbs, plants of historical significance, and even a poison garden. I believe one of your number had an experience with the... ghost iris? Ghost lily? Biology is very much a weak point for me, so you may need to consult our staff to verify that.

Hrm. I will have my staff see to that, then. Mayhaps I shall abstain from the poisonous plants, though we shall see - depending on how breathtaking they may appear, I may make an exception.

It is a very rare, enormous flower that blooms roughly once a decade. A very rare occurrence, in the least. The name derives from the putrid smell, placing it firmly as a carrion flower rather than a typical leafy green, etc... you get the idea, yes?

It's something I've only read about, studying up on gardening and botany. I've never seen it.

Dddddo you want gross stuff too? My home planet's mostly a marshy swampy area and we've mostly got... Fungus. And a few trees that look like willows that glow. Algae too.

I can certainly say the experiance of being 'connected' (of a sorts) to the plant was... interesting. However I wouldn't personally recommend a repeat performance for anyone else unless they're of a sound constitution and of the highest quality mental health.
