CCP Please.

Angel Cartel Deepspace transport --
+50% warp acceleration
+50% warp speed
+10% agility / level
+10% fleet hangar space per level.

Joint venture between Thukker and Angel but you can make it Minmatar/Gallente I'm not picky Big smile

Bill it to my wife please or tell her to train a fukn' DST herself pls thanks.

Is this one of those alliance tournament prize things?

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

Hmm, not that I remember. Wasn't in the last few tournament and this year we have the corpse-bay -erm Blood Raider yolo OMG-WFT-BBQ-PWN-mobile.

If I remember the angel ones got a recon and a frigate.

This could be the first pirate faction hauler.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

Pirate haulers, I can see the shiny KMs now.

In all seriousness though, transports aren't a very 'piratey' ship class for pirate factions to build.

Why not? They need to move all those illicit goods around somehow. I would think, lore wise, the Sepentis would make a better candidate for this being that they need to haul all those drugs around. I think that further expansion of pirate faction ship lines is good because of the unique roles they can fill. Pirate shield and armor logi, haulers, maybe even pirate command ships for the new links. Keep them below T2, but let these specialist roles be filled.

So a Leopard with a corp bay?

Eh, a Prowler? I mean it's not the same buffs, but hey it is at least faster than a DST and it's Minmatar, right? It's even built to be sneaky ninja.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

If you fit hyperspatial rigs and a propmod (to get in warp faster) on any existing DST you'll make pretty fast trips between tradehubs. And only pirate T2 hulls so far have been limites issue AT ships.
I would however like to see an angel freighter that has 50% better warp speed than other freighters, even though I don't use a freighter much since they are so slow, even with a webbing alt.

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

New ships are always nice if they fill a niche but I kinda agree with Luscius in that you can already do a lot atm. E.g. although my trade alts are based in Jita and rarely move around if they want to travel they use T1 frigates with T1 hyperspatial rigs and warp as fast as an intie.

While I prefer to outsource hauling to the Haulers Channel, on the rare occasions that I do haul stuff in a DST I dual-prop it with AB and MWD. To follow on from what Luscius says, align to out gate, one cycle of MWD and you are in warp in half the time it takes without a prop mod. Then you can add hyperspace rigs and hardwires as well for even faster travel.

Still, if there is a niche that can be filled at a reasonable price/performance tradeoff I have no objection to that.

eve at its best - this is a great idea like whats his name said, pirates need to sell there bootie and what better way then in a special pirate hauler, has a lot of merit but if your too anal to see it stop jizzing on the man.

its easy to **** but to think of something new now that's hard. pun intended Twisted

+1 from me - on idea not stats he posted

Mine has enough inertial stabs to align faster than the 10 sec a MWD needs to cycle; a nice strong shieldtank in the mids and a MWD + cloak just for those occasions;

I already fly a hauler clone but you're right about the rigs-- one hyperspatial accelerator in the lows and two rigs may indeed yield something akin to the desired result. My mastodon is a very old fit, built it a year and a half ago with lowsec in mind- perhaps I need to redesign a highsec warptunnel optimized long-hauler.

Back then that one ship could hold everything I owned; now that I find myself making more and longer trips I'm looking for an in-between solution (like someone else suggested on F&I) holding either more cargo or going considerably faster.

I'll see where the rigs take me. Probably not entirely to where I want it to be, but it's a start- thanks.

When they legalized boosters in HiSec, they sort of removed anything unique that a pirate hauler could bring to the game.
