You should make sure you have citadels on your overview. New items don't automatically add themselves to your overview profiles so if you haven't done that yet you won't be able to see them.

Curious, is there AOE damage when you detonate a class M star base and you're sitting in close proximity?
(just kidding about it being a class "M" star base, play on Aliens when Ripley was getting grilled by Weyland-Yutani suits)
