I've got a capital sentry tech 2 blueprint but..
As far as I know, capitals can't use sentries. What gives?

No big mystery, Capitals used to be able to use sentries, thus capital sentry rigs (that no one ever used). CCP simply forgot to take those blueprints and items out of the game.

lol oops!

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Built by CCP

I knew a person whose goal was to collect a copy or original of every blueprint in game. Shop it around you might find a buyer even though it may be useless.

Yea. Or Ccp can transform it into something useful. It's a very expensive print that I got couple of months ago from a data site

I'll try to sell it in the market forum.

I've no idea where to start pricing it... Not capitals can use sentries though right? Not the Titans, not the logistics turds, nor carriers.

No freaky jump freighter or industrial can use them?
What about citadels?

Is it truely a dead modual?

It's a t2 bpo

No it's not. It's a BPC. It's also more or less worthless.

Edit: if the calibration on SDA IIs weren't such a *****, one *might* still see use on a battle Rorqual. As is, I couldn't even see using it there.

maybe make a petition and ask GM about replacing it by something? Not sure if you get anything out of it but i'm sure you won't get anything if you don't ask.

Good point. There is always someone out there with way too much isk willing to buy what is essentially a misprint. Abit like misprints in coinage.

The client you're using on your phone isn't handling the assets right (assuming it's loading your personal assets).

Not really, cause it's useless. But a lot of people around collect such things as artefacts, so you may get some reasonable amount of ISK for it.

I still got a couple of mines in the storage. May be one day it will blow up the station to drek.

Rorquals and FAX can still use sentries - so in principle you can still use them.
Makes about as much sense as hacking and scanning capital rigs.

Wouldn't it make more sense to suggest a form of Fighter Sentry for carriers? Something that barely moves but decent range, tolerable tank? Make them have a decent Sig radius so they do take a decent amount of bomb damage, but can apply damage faster because they do not travel to the target? This way carriers would get an extra fighter option, the rig would be of value, and it could be a new item for Valkyrie too.
