Idea to for allowing capital ships in high security space

Don't think caps should be in highsec. If you allow them there, that also means you'd be able to build them there. I foresee more low and null crowd moving to highsec; safely ratting away in their NPC corps, safely building component safely replacing bowheads to move their incursion ships, safely safely safely.

If something like this were to happen, you'd practically have to be able to declare war against a Player rather than a corp. More shennanigans inbound.

Haven't thought through all the implications beginning to end but it already smells like a horribad idea.



Addendum: besides, the absence of capitals in highsec is a beautiful thing. Battleship fights are awesome- you don't want highsec to turn into capblob online, trust me. Currently there is a limit to how much a few filthy rich players can accomplish. As soon as those players start sticking aeons on everything..... where will you go to retreat, regroup, reform?

Capital pilots wishing to blitz level 4 missions might be surprised to sometimes be stuck on strange structures called "acceleration gates".

That leaves high sec anomalies - finally we can solo them... \o/
