How to sell (and price) BPCs?

Hi all,

new player question here! I have recently started doing some sleeper relic sites, which reward 1- or 3-run BPCs.
Looks like they cannot be sold on the market, so I am trying to sell them via contracts, so far without any luck.

As I cannot find any contracts for the BPCs I have, I am not sure how to price them properly, so maybe noone is buying cause they are overpriced.

I was assuming that the return on the BPC would be the market value of the item multiplied with the amount of runs, minus cost of the materials needed to make the item and some margin. Is this basically correct, or are they worth much less for some reason?

It might be useless advice but check if these items actually getting sold (market statistics page). If i'm not mistaken sleeper sites mostly drop "COSMOS" BPCs and some of such items have ridiculous material price while having not so cool attributes. This makes them having big price without getting sold.

This can be the reason why you don't see them contracted too. I have collection of like 100 BPCs whose price is couple millions at best. Too much effort for such price.

In general i would advise to simply ignore ghost sites and only take blue loot from sleeper ones.

BPCs are sold in contracts. Just look up contracts to see if yours are in demand. I ended up building all the stuff because nobody wanted the BPCs. I think I lost some money doing so as the mined ore wasn't free but at least I had the feeling of an industrial character.

Basically, yes. There are some items that are utterly useless and no one with two brain cells to rub together would purchase them. Like the capital emission scope sharpener rig - which increases the effectiveness of relic modules - no one with 2 brain cells to rub together would make or use such a beast.

If you'd like some advice, either post some of the bpcs or send me a message with a list and I'll try to help you figure out a better way to use/sell the bpc.
