I can't tell if the ISD who locked my thread is pro or anti-code.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on my previous thread, Mara Pahrdi. There are still people thinking I'm a code alt. Thank you. I feel good about myself if you think of me that way. I must have done something admirable for you to think I have the experience and capability to be part of this "code" bs.

To ISD Buldath, how do we stop these bunch of RP kids roaming around hi sec like they own the place? Is there a corp that hunts down this code?

You can hunt them yourself, they are mostly all criminals and therefore can be shot on sight. If they are red shoot them.

The reason everyone thinks you're an alt is because your bio has that crap they tell you to put in there yet you still come here complaining about them. Even a noob should clearly see how that is perceived.

It's not about pro or anti code, it's about the same thread being reopened over and over again and they just turn into troll fests. Most of the ISD hang out in wormholes from what I have seen so they couldn't care less about pro/anti CODE

I will remove that crap I pasted on my bio then! Why is it that only you have mentioned it! I am not complaining, I am narrating my concern as to why these people are doing such thing in the game. It should be dealt by the game moderators as an abuse to new players.

It's good you can't tell if he's pro or anti code. ISDs are supposed to be neutral. It's also not their job to tell you how to stop CODE. The problem with hunting them is that most of them are -10, so they're usually in warp or ganking a target. You're welcome to make your own corp to try and stop suicide gankers, maybe escort a few freighters around with Falcons or some equally nasty ECM platform. There's also an anti-ganker movement with a channel, you can join that as well. I wish you luck, you're going to need it.

You can actually get in trouble if you gank a new player in a system specified as a new player zone, i.e. starter systems, career agent systems, and the systems where the SoE epic arc takes place. Anyone else, anywhere else, is fair game. Fly a Skiff and buck up.

They are not abusing you, they are exploiting your ignorance. It's a subtle difference but it is different. It's the corner stone of the mind games that make eve great. Learn to play them and you will have great fun. Try to ignore them or say they are unfair and you will be miserable. This isn't a normal game and it doesn't have normal rules, that's why those of us who understand it love it but it's very easy for a new player to misunderstand what it is.

My killboard is littered with ganker kills, it's easy if you know where we are vulnerable (hint: we don't always gank in the system we undock from)

Yeah...

Color me confused, dear, but why would you want to hunt down a bunch of "RP kids"?

I mean... without engaging in RP yourself?

There is almost no issue in taking CODE or other similar gankers out beyond having the ability to do so.

Odd thing about gank ships is they are very vulnerable to gank ships. You can bait or troll them as easily as they do others. You just need to have the fleet and friends to do it with to match whatever they are bringing to the table.

Oh yeah, and you need to possess the PvP skills to do it with. This is the one area that anti-gankers get laughed at for. Don't expect a PvE player to be able to take on a PvP target with ease.

My recommendation is go spend some time in LoSec or NullSec and get decent at PvP. Then go back and ganker sorts will be relatively easy targets. You can counter gank them because some really cheap ships can wipe something like a Gank Cat out of the stars in seconds, that's if they aren't already criminal or suspect... which as was stated before, they often are.

There are strict rules around where ganking cannot occur and leeway for the GMs to make their own judgement calls in other situations.

CODE. are reasonably careful (with some very notable exceptions) at not crossing the boundary. So the GMs don't need to do anything. We players need to.

You were attacked by a player, not a player who asked a GM to attack you. Same in reverse. Go attack them back rather than calling for GMs to step in and protect you.

So class, what did we learn today?

If CODE ganks my rustbucket, I'll just undock another one and park that one AFK somewhere as well.
If an ISD locks my thread I'll just post the same one and let that burn as well.

Now apply brain, wait another 5 minutes and -TADAA!- Epiphany will come to you I am sure.
