You have been extorted for isk by a group of role players. Welcome to eve. It is part of the game. I wish you had not paid but do be it.

Your next course of action Will help determine your future in EVE. Your choices are:

Complain on the forums and quit, this game may not be right for you.

Go the solo route... Open your in game map, set the statistic to average pilots in space and pick a spot in hi sec that is not as popular. Less chance to run into CODE and the like. The drawback, you will need to haul stuff to and from a trade hub, so research and prepare.

Join Eve University, take some.courses and educate yourself better.

Join a decent new player friendly Corp that may be able to better educate you or help you. Try Brave Newbies or Pandemic Horde. DO NOT FALL FOR RECRUITMENT SCAMS!!! Research those in eve and be a little cautious. If someone asks you for 500 mil isk to join it is probably a scam. Still, safety in numbers helps and you can find those that will help educate you.

I hope this helps!

I am aware that it is PVP oriented, and all along I though I was safe to mine in Hi sec.

That is your assumption...which was wrong. In any game, it is the players responsibility to educate themselves as to how the mechanics work.

My assumption was valid and based on facts. Not this.

Player-driven government or whatever you call it is bad. If I don't abide to their rules and pay for their "permit", where should I go then?

In a MMO, really, what did you expect? As for where you should go, how about you ask "How do I survive" or "How do I mine safely?". Running away is not the first thing you should be thinking of.

Running away? More like I am avoiding such bs to control me.

I am a new player and I only know the basics of the game.

Doubtful...new players don't run to LowSec on their first day...

Who said new players can't run into lowsec? As soon as I heard about it, I went into one and got killed. No biggie

And no, I am not just another whiner attention seeker type, but I'm sure you are an arrogant douche in real life buddy.
LOL...try harder...

Yet you're the crying your little eyes out...How about instead of whining here, you go and read-up on how to survive and play EVE.

Chill bro. I know how you want to punch me right now, but you're just a kid so I don't mind you at all. I did "read-up" and now I'm back here to find a way how to stop this bs childish "code" thing from ruining EVE. If you are oppressed by this code, don't be shy and go against them. You have the right to be free.

I'm not sure if I'd be impressed that people don't find me as a new player. I would take that as a compliment. In all honesty, I started the game more than a month ago. I know what's inside my killboard, and I don't understand how you interpret my deaths to being not a new player.

Wrap another layer of bubble-wrap around you. Maybe that will help.

Ok so this one best describes me (apart from me being the noobest of all noobs). Yes, I'm anti-code and I'm upset they force me into these things. I don't mind getting my ship destroyed or being ganked. What I am concerned about is: there's a group trying to take advantage of new players and forcing them into bs rules. If there's an anti-code corp who's against them, please I will join your cause and find ways to stop them.

Message me in-game our corp is recruiting we are small (150 people) with focus on Industry etc. We live in Providence the safest place in Null-Sec there are thousands of players that are against piracy and all pirates get reported in intel channels and then hunted down. We also have rorqual boosts for you to mine and access to big fleets every day and SRP too ( ship replacment program)

No, we can just tell you how not to get ganked:
Ventures are fast. Run an afterburner, and they won't be able to catch it with the catalyst fits they like to use.
Hulks and retrievers are squishy. If you aren't paying careful attention, they're easy to kill.
Procurers with damage controls and a lot of shield hardeners are stupid expensive to gank.

EVE actually is a dangerous place. It's boring without people trying to kill you and take your stuff.

Yes, it's dangerous even in hisec.

You have all the other MMOs which will gladly hold your hand and walk you through saving the universe, walking you through the same experience of saving your home as everyone before and after you. These are what we call themeparks: WoW, SWTOR, LOTRO, STO, etc.
Then you have EVE (and a few smaller games designed on a similar principle), where it exposes you to some basics of how the game works and turns you lose in a big, scary place to explore and fight over. The devs give us tools and we figure out how to use them together.

I like this. Makes more sense. I apologize that you all guys feel I am whining about this kind of activity in game where players can dictate how other players should live their lives in-game.

To all others who thought I was part of the code, no I'm not and I am just like you who are against it. Someday, I will get to the bottom of this and confront the makers of this code myself (or at least I'll try doing so.)

If you had truly read up, as you claim, you would have found the crime and punishment forums, the various anti-ganker channels and groups that already exist, and put time and energy into working with them.
