Optimal ship for COSMOS missions ?

The classic story: I have a trade alt that needs Caldari State / Caldari Navy standings raised.
I already did all Amarr and Caldari career agents, circle agents and data centers.
Final step will be COSMOS.

Since my trade alt has negligible combat skills, I will dualbox cosmos with my main.

The question is:
What is the optimal ship for cosmos combat missions?
I heard that some complexes have ship size restrictions,
and that some of the missions are quite rough.

Will T3C work?
Or HAC?

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

HAC, T3C, Piratecruisers all good.
I did the Caldari one in Gila waaay back when i had pretty bad skills, drones just killed everything.
Some missions need bit of cargo space though, wasnt there some shuttle delivery where you need like 500m3 or something.

Best ship: go on contracts and look for COSMOS mission packs. Accept a likely-looking candidate. Take all the stuff in your cargohold. Accept and complete all the missions like a pro, leaving your agent goggle-eyed in the dust!

Perfection is a dish best served like wasabi .

That's the 3 part mission series for Amarr Empire Cosmos Agent Akemon Tolan, located in the Guristas Complex in Otomainen system. That system can only be accessed by going through Ihak (low sec) system.

Akemon Tolan is being held captive in the third room (Prison Stage) of the complex. Your mission is to help him escape but first he wants proof that you're sincere by bringing him the head of a specific NPC. Next he needs a specific Data Chip to deactivate a miniature bomb in his brain that will go off if he leaves. Lastly he needs a Guristas Shuttle to flee in so he's not noticed by the guards.

When I did that mission series, I obtained the required items first and used a Covert Blockade Runner to transport the items. I figured a cloaked ship would work great and I'd complete the mission series in one sitting. After passing through the low sec system, I warped to the site, accessed the entrance gate and activated cloak before landing on grid in the first room. I made my way cloaked to the gate leading to the second room which was unlocked and did the same thing again, activating cloak before landing on grid in the second room.

However much to my dismay, the gate leading from the second room to the third room was locked. To access that gate, all NPC's in the second room had to be destroyed.

While I was sitting there cloaked, about 5km range from the gate trying to decide what to do, a couple of players entered the room, destroyed all of the NPC's and accessed the gate to the third room. I couldn't believe my luck. I quickly followed them and activated cloak before landing on grid in the third room. They were busy destroying the guard NPC's in the room so I quickly got range away from the action yet maintained range to access the agent. I quickly completed the Agent's mission series and then watched them destroy the rest of the NPC's, collect a bit of loot and then warp out.

I thanked them in Local chat for helping me to complete that Cosmos Agent. One of them contacted me via personal convo and wanted to know how they had helped me. I related the events that happened and to my surprise he thought it was great. He even complemented me for sneaking in with a Covert Blockade Runner and completing the mission without being seen.

Yeah, just one of the many experiences I've had here in Eve that I will never forget.

Battle report:

I've completed both Amarr and Caldari COSMOS mission series.
Tengu indeed ploughed through combat missions like a hot knife through butter.
I had to skip a few cargo missions with large loads and laughable standings reward.
(One particular mission was to transport 12000 m3 three jumps into lowsec)

Gallente and Minmatar standings are capped at -5.0 unmodified.
With Diplomacy I'm still allowed into their space, however.

Rewards are weird.
I'm trying to figure out what to do with all those blueprints...

Gratz on completing the Amarr and Caldari Cosmos. You should now have very high standings with them. That should make for a nice buffer for working on Gallente and Minmatar standings. If you should decide to do that, you'll be able to have positive standings with all Empire Factions.

It is pretty easy to maintain positive standings with each faction; I did so for years to simplify mercenary work in high sec. Use the agent finder and blitz L3 security missions. Decline any that force you to fight a non-pirate faction, switch agents if you can't decline without standings loss.
Depending on your SP and wallet, t1 cbc and pirate cruisers crush them within minutes and get around space reasonably quickly. Isk and lp per hour sucks, but that is besides the point.

Now I really like that story, I love it when great things like that happen.
