It's a sad day for Science Fiction fans. Jerry Doyle, who portrayed the character Michael Garibaldi on the 90s TV show Babylon 5 has died.

Why is this relevant to EVE? If you look at the backstory between the Amarr and Minbari, you will see more than a little in common with the Centauri/Narn plotline of B5. B5 in many other facets reflects what has been developed here in EVE.

After B5, Jerry went on to host a politically charged website and radio show. I think the best description of him, can be found here, written by his old boss, writer J. Michael Straczynski.
