colors for navigation between constellations and regions

When using the autopilot as navigation, is it possible to develop something, where you can see when you leave a constellation or a region.

I was thinking in the lines of a 1 pixel thick colored line around the square box in the autopilot indication for a new constellation, and a 2 pixel thick indicator around the square box when entering a new region.
This would be dynamic, so only the first system in a constellation or in a region would be lighted up like this.

As is it today, I don't see any difference at all between constellations, and the only difference in regions is that the markets don't go across the 'border.'

If heading to a single destination: Right click, "show info" on the destination. Click on "Route" tab.
If heading to multiple destinations: http://evemaps.dotlan.net/route or use the "Manage Route" option the auto-pilot already has.
