My advice would be:

- activate for a month (no restrictions on what you can train)
- pay for a PLEX to convert to ISK (it's only an extra month cost)

This will give you plenty of time, and plenty of start-up ISK, to figure out what you like, whether you like the industry side of it, and also some of the "what to sell, where" details. With a regular account, you can post in the Market and the Industry forums, where the experts are.

And with 1b ISK in the wallet from the PLEX, you won't need to worry about grinding for cash within 14 days, and can concentrate on finding the fun / what you like to do.

In all my years of playing this game I have never heard of anyone who came to this game looking to PLEX right from the get-go and had it work out well. We had a guy come into our corp once that did it very early on and he lasted a few months doing it. Eventually he just stopped logging on. Outside of that kind of example most other players that I know who have come to this game with that intent did not make it past the trial.

I do know people who PLEX regularly but most of them do so because they have enough left-over isk to do it so they do because they can but it's not their reason for playing. If you intend to PLEX a trial into a full acount and you are not a seasoned vet on an alt then I say this game will become a job and you will not like it.

I am not trying to discourage you from trying to accomplish your goal. I am just saying if it does not work out don't blame the game for not being fun when you are the one that turned a game into a job. From my perspective I'd rather work a real life job for my $15 per month than spend and just have fun in the game than to put in 30+ hours of work in a game just so that I can play the game.

Again if you can find something that you enjoy doing in game that makes you lots of extra isk and you can afford to PLEX that is completely different, However if that were the case you'd be in here asking us how to have the most fun not how to make the most isk.

It's also probably worth noting that in the past 2 years that you've not been playing the cost of PLEX has gone up significantly while during the same time frame the income potential for most professions has not.

In my opinion Faction munitions and Implants have always seemed to be a good market commodity. Easy to obtain, usually quick to sell.

Course the sale location will be the main thing that regulates the amount of profit.
