Carrier Instapop From Sleeper Drones

Over the past month i have been testing Carrier fits and have had sleepers warp in while i was attacking rats in asteroid belts. After killing one sleeper the Carrier explodes instantly. This has happened several times over the past few weeks. So what is the dealio?

there must been a drifter battleship that destroyed your carrier, or you attacked something and got concorded

I make a bet for 10 trillion isk that there are no sleepers in any asteroid belt.

Seeker drones warp to belts just fine and scan asteroids around. It stands to reason that after you kill some, drifter BC will warp in and ruin your day.
