Tengu advise for exploration in high and lowsec - hacking - sleepers

I need advise for a Tengu fit. I have been exploring and hacking in a buzzard. It does great u till I get to a sleeper site.
I really just want to use my Tengu for high and lowsec exploration sites and wormholes. That way I won't have to warp out because of sleepers and waste 20-30 min probing down a site. If you have a better idea for a different ship for exploring wormholes please let me know. My skills are for mainly shield/ HAMS. Also looking for a exploration Corp

what if I told you sleeper relic/data sites are worthless anyway

Also 20 minutes to probe ANYTHING means you need to practice more

Shhh.. He was supposed to figure this out in the first class 3-5 relic site he stumbles into. Oh and once I found a hole that has been vacated and had 25 signatures Shocked

I honestly wouldn't recommend doing both hacking and combat in the same ship -- you're costing yourself effectiveness in both if you do so. Further I wouldn't use the same ship for lowsec combats and wormhole combats; they each require a different resist profile.

If you absolutely insist on using one ship for everything though -- I'd strongly recommend the Gnosis. It's got slots and fitting space galore, the scanning bonus of the SoE ships, and is one of the most flexible ships in the game.

New record for me last night; 54 sigs in a C3. 9 relics among them netted me a cool 200m.

I would assume the 20-30 minutes isn't just to pin down one site - it's to scan out the whole system and have a look see in connecting wh and other routine smart wh piloting things. If you jump in a wh, pinpoint a signature in 10 seconds, warp to it and start bearing..... you'll have a short career in wh space.

Don't try to bear and pvp with the same fit.

A Tengu will let you run combat anomalies in C1-C2 easily (C3 after you get experience) + faction data/relic which are hacking only. You can use a mobile depot to change fittings for the hacking modules/subsystems.

The non-faction data/relic sites (unsecured/forgotten) are really combat sites run for the blue loot - they are about 1 level harder than the current WH class.

If you just want to run the mini-game sites then stick with the buzzard.
