So, I know I'm a bit late to the Drifter lore hunt, but today I found something I could not find any references to around the Internet or these formums: the Sentinel Repository and the Sentinel Sequences.

I found one of the Drifter sites that contain an unidentified wormhole in nullsec, and decided to go through it. I landed on J055520, which seems to be a Shattered system containing the Sentinel Drifter site, as well as a SoE flotilla. After moving through its pockets (covops cloaks are the best) I reached the Nexus pocket. I saw what I had already seen on videos and screenshots, including the massive double rift directly "above" and "below" me.

But then, I saw the Sentinel Repository.

I have no idea if this has been seen before, but I couldn't find any information or reports about it around the Internet. As you can see on my overview, it's listed as a container-type object, located around 175 km away from the warp-in point, and looks like a grown-up beacon. If one gets into can grabbing range and tries to open it, the window you see on the screenshot pops out and asks for 1 "sentinel sequence 0" and 1 "sentinel sequence 1".

What is this thing? What are those two items it asks for as "input". What "output" would it give in exchange, if any? Has anyone else seen this before? Am I just bad at search engines, or is this really new?

I did not leave the system, so if you need more screenshots, information or testing on my part, don't hesitate on asking for them here.

I found a similar one a while back and eventually found some posts discussing it in the Wormholes section of the forums. The Drifter complexes mentioned in the second link were updated to have a hackable object in them that give "Sequences" for one of the repositories. Using the sequence on the repository gives, as I understand it, the new Drifter boosters. I believe the five Wormholes can be run in a cycle with each Complex giving the sequence for the repository in the next Wormhole.
