Hi, I am planning on moving me and my alts into a C3 probably where primarily I'll be doing PI work.

Would Astro 4 and the support skills 3 and a crane or a prowler with a probe launcher in one of the highs be enough to scan my way back out if a scanner alt ends up dead?

If you can fit a probe launcher, you can scan your way out of anything :)
Its just a matter of how fast you scan tbh.

Hell worst case just have a Depo and some scanning upgrades in cargo. Just refit if required.

Also fit a cloak and probe launcher to all of your Epithals. lvl3 skills are enough to scan almost all WHs easily.

I would recommend a c1 over a c3, due to the fact that most c3s will be occupied.
