Sorry if this is not the correct section, but noticed that I opened a ticket on Sunday and it hasnt been looked at. Last time I opened a support ticket, CCP was fairly quickly in ready and addressing my concerns.

Is there a big backlog?

The average wait time on tickets is about 1 week, and CCP doesn't update the ticket just to tell you that they received it, like other games do. If you've created the ticket and it has a ticket number, then they received it. When they get to it, they will typically resolve the matter in an efficient way; EVE has pretty good ticket responses, and they're competent at resolving issues. You just have to be patient.

They try to prioritize stuck, harassment, or billing tickets, so you may see a 1-3 day response time on those issues. But otherwise it's about a week, maybe even 2 weeks, if they have to check the server logs thoroughly before they reimburse you ships, items, or ISK. They have 50,000 players petitioning almost daily for ships they lost in combat, or items they lost to scams, etc.; it's pretty busy.

Priority is given dependent on the nature of the ticket. As with all support systems there are peaks and troughs in demand.

Sometimes you hit the bar and sometimes the bar hits you...
