Booster Timer Question

I have a question about the timer on boosters when you clone jump. Here is the scenario. I have a Copper Ouroboros Accelerator. If I apply it on my carebear clone and I jump to a different clone for some pvp, does the timer pause or keep going? How does it work?

I'd presume it's destroyed the moment you jump to a new clone. No pause. Nor continuation. Would be great to know if i was wrong. But, here's a strong suspicion it's wasted the moment you jump out.
