It'll work better than anyone will give it credit for. However, I have a pretty strong preference for the 2 nano/2 BCU Drake variant.

Shield Recharger II -> second Large Shield Extender II. Maybe you need meta4 LSEs with your skills.
Small Neut in high. Or offline probe launcher/salvager if you can't fit that.

In anything past very small gangs, your passive regen is going to get facerolled by incoming DPS.

I believe empty slots also behave at heat sinks. So unless you want a slightly more expensive ship which can salvage or run exploration sites if you give it 3 mins or so to activate the offline module, adding a probe launcher or salvager is unnecessary.

A good base fit, I would however swap the invulns about for some extra overheat loving.

Nano and a Damage control? isn't that counter-productive? I'm a noob, but I still think I'd either drop the nano for like... and overdrive, or another BCS (If I had the CPU), or drop the damage control for another BCS or Nano.

Otherwise, yeah, I agree, fitting for shield regen is stupid in PVP.

for pvp, you usually wont be 60km out from your opponent, i use a very similar fit for my alts pvp drake, but i use HAMs. you may need a power diagnostic, instaed of the nano to fit, but the reality is 1500 alpha every 3.5 seconds is better than 2100 every 6.5 seconds. it works out to (roughly, depending on skills) 25,714 damage per minute with HAMs, and 19,384 DPM for HMs .
6300 damage could be the difference in pvp.

actualy depends on what you consider PvP, if you're actively looking for others to fight with, remove the shield regen. fit nano's low, or DCU. mid slot a second LSE II or loose the MWD with it for an afterburner and a web. Nossie to keep it burning.

If you just want to roam lowsec and do your own thing and need some protection agains peaple jumping on your back, leave the shield regen, you won;t be killing anyone but most lone wolf leave with their tail between their legs.
