I'm quitting EvE and the reason is

Since June Release 118.6 has been deployed, if you want to start the game or in the game; if you want to dock in any Gallente station, there's a Dynamic camera view; you ship comes slowly in the middle of the station and stays in front of this huge Cross which is the symbol of Christianity and it really looks like the ship is praying!

Why a cross?
or why not Allah?
Why not any other almost 7000 Gods or that much religions?

Guys, I know some of you are going to answer this topic as:
Hey dude, you can shut down the Dynamic Camera from your settings!!

But dude, this is not the solution and this is not even the thing, what I'm talking about!

I wrote something about this to the support. The answer is: that they're using such orthogonal shapes and forms for the developing of the station structure; what I see there has nothing to do with christianity and it's not a cross!

I'm an atheist. And I just don't want to be involved such things in a game; in a game like EvE Online! I always played EvE. EvE made me happy, such a beautiful game! Everything was perfect; since I see this unnecessary detail! I really don't understand whay do ccp had to do such a thing! How pitty that is!

As I said; I'm quitting EvE and cancelling my account. And you guys know; why.

The name is something else bro. Has no the same effect! While you're playing, in a few months you'll even forget about the name of the game!

But if you'll dock in a station and always see your ship is praying in front of a futuristic cross and constrained this religious propaganda .... This is not acceptable for me.

Doc has been playing for more than 10 years, and still knows what this game's name is. It used to be called something else however.

Doc also does not Anthropomorphise his ships unless they are being naughty.

It seems you must be one of those atheists..


/OP definitely does not want to be around when there are a bunch of goons posting in local.

A Cross is a random shape. So is anything else to do with religion. As an atheist it shouldn't offend you, as it means nothing to you.
