Carrot and the Stick, Carrier and fighter changes!

Carrot

CCP make carriers useful and give us an interesting way to use them. Fighter squadrons are a unique way to change up drone use and pilots feel they now have a good place outside of afk sentry ratting and god forbid triage.

Stick

After letting you have fun with them for 5 minutes CCP decides it would be more prudent to beat you to death whilst raping your children because, whats more fun than doing something good? Ofcourse its taking that goodness and turning it all to shite.

Post change, rocket salvos are absolutely useless in both PVE and PVP in any scenario, fighters no longer apply their full primary dps and even rats now will take them down like flies. P

Awesome changes, I hope our playerbase who fly expendable ships have a good time with their probes trying to find these carriers because holy reich work, bastion module looks really good these days. **** you CCP. Bear

If you're somehow trying to say that the initial changes were "fine" and not overpowered at all then good luck with that.

They were overpowered if we are honest. That said, the new changes actually are fine if you adjust your ratting technique. Yes, I know, I just suggested change. What am I like?!

EDIT: I was training up certain fighter skills having had a brief period of fun trying out my carrier in Stain, I brought all the BPO's for the new modules, researched them, did invention for T2 versions gathered the material to fit them, was a fun project to keep my interest. And then they get nerfed to useless level. I am about as fed up as the OP who you reported for saying a rude word. I am damn angry too, but in any case I stopped the training , decided to build something else and said what ho CCP...

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

And again we have a post that seems to miss the history of virtually every major adjustment to a ship for as long as this game has been online. I'm sure you're familiar with it:

1. Make it retardedly over powered
2. Nerf it into the ******* dirt
3. Tweak it over and over until it becomes useful without wrecking everyone

It never ceases to amaze me that in such a hard game that weeds out the weak from the strong, people go weak at the knees at a little bit of bad language. Of course I know what it was likely to be, but really...

I'll tell you what I didn't see. I didn't see him suggesting anyone is raping children, or threaten to **** children, or even allude to child **** being a good thing. In fact, what I did see was him comparing child **** to something bad, almost as if... OMFG, almost as if child **** is bad!

There is no excuse for comparing raping a child with nerfs to a computer game. I'm sorry if you don't think child **** is serious enough of a crime to warrant challenging people who trivialise it. I'm sorry my grammer and spelling are not up to your high standards, not everyone has English as a first language.

The only disgrace in this thread is the OP. I hope your children never have to suffer such an act and then watch as sections of society trivialises the crime with jokey comparisons (and hyperbole). Its disgusting and disgraceful and decent members of society need to call people out on it. You are free to defend those people's right to behave that way and I'm free to call them out on their behaviour.
