So, the U.K. has voted to leave the European Union. With no real trade agreements yet, just curious how this will effect eve in the short run for U.K. players?

Doubt it will affect short term seeing as it takes 2 years for the process to run. However the government better do a good deal with Iceland after that.

It wont. Britain will have two whole years to renegotiate all treaties. I believe the old ones as they stand now will remain active untill then.

The UK needs to negotiate cheaper fanfest tickets and beer :)

Well. Pound will be worth something between zero and infinitesimal and everything that will be imported to UK (as EVE Online) will be damn expensive.

Dear britons, your production is in China, your currency is worthless and you do not produce enough food for you people.

Enjoy!

You can try, but your hopes will not be answered.

and yet we have the worlds 5th largest economy.(and still will) As usual the usual claptrap of fear, of course in the short term prices will go up but it will settle down as it always does because in the end we spend too much money for people to ignore us. I voted for Remain myself but all this doom and gloom and project fear nonsense is just pathetic.
It will take at least 5 years before we know whether or not leaving was a success or a failure and until then there's no point saying either way because basically nobody knows.

Have you ever thought we are the 5th largest economy because we were in the EU? Stop spreading nonsense that nobody knows what's going to happen like it's 50/50. It's pretty certain that a huge portion of industry will be forced to shut down, if Boris Johnson is the new PM, the NHS will be privatised. You really haven't got a clue what you are talking about at all if you think there is nothing to fear.

Jesus, that's the point nobody has a clue so stop spreading fear like it's going to happen. Nobody can blame anyone else for this because people across all parties obviously voted for it (SNP exception).

Uuuhm politics and all but in what alternate reality is TTIP a good idea for the UK or EU in general?

Yes we do have a clue though, we have a very good clue and evidence to back it up. Just stop posting because you have no evidence and no argument for what you are saying, it's just your baseless opinion with zero credibility and it's exactly that type of disregard for facts that has goptten us into this mess because you vote without care.

Yes, we really should accept economy lessons from someone who can't tell the difference between 80k and 80 million.

I love it how Down Syndrome people are allowed to vote. It just gives me pleasure how happy they are when they vote.

After you calculate out Scottish gas and oil, and City's banking market, your economy shrinks next to nothing.
