Giant spice worm with lasers coming out of its teeth.

I'm starting a rumor in Eve online hoping one day it will be truth. The spice worm is what causes the wormholes.
These worms can be small or giant, they seed on barren sandy planets. The spice is important for space travel. This spice breeds a super mico colony in it and this causes it to waff a potent scent. The Worm makes the spice by tasting the essence of stars with it's teeth, this essence is the very essence of planets that gets burned off by the star.
A giant spice worm is somewhere in the Wormholes, or inbetween worm holes

It's said that the spice can cause you to learn faster because it has everything in it the body needs to adapt and survive in space.
It even creates it's own atmosphere. Currently we are researching the spice, we believe it may aid in teleportation of a pod the very moment that the ship is destroyed, unfortunately the spice must remain where it was. I also heard spice can be used to help students study their skillbooks.

Build spice worms

*Make the spice something scientists can research to gain skill points
*Make the spice something that is like a golden pod.
*make it expensive enough that we could buy a golden pod
*Make the giant worm a docking port, with first person mining inside the worm.
*Make the giant worm tough enough a person needs 3 to 5 people to take it out.
*Make the small worm easy enough a battlecruiser could take it out.

I think you have too much fear in your heart. As they say: Fear is the mind killer. I say this cause your idea is rotten as hell.

He who controls the spice, controls the universe.

Too much of it does this to you.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Why a worm? I want a giant miniature space hamster!

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

Because someone would try, and eventually succeed, in killing the hamster.
Once that happens, the whole network dies, and New Eden turns off.

That's how EvE Offline happens.

Avoid EvE Offline. Kill worms, not hamsters.

Given an hour to save New Eden, how would respected scientist, Albertus Eisenstein compose his thoughts? "Fifty-five minutes to define the problem; save the galaxy in five."
