Compared to the other attack cruisers it is missing a slot. It is probably the weakest t1 cruiser atm. What do to reckon?

Since I'm Minmatar I say 'Hell Yeah, buff the Stabber.'

Also us Minmatar put as many guns as we can on our ships. That's why we use Duct Tape.

What do you mean missing a slot?

You do realize its history correct?Roll

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

I agree. The stabber needs at least 5 more low slots, 6 more mids and 14 more high slots, and also the ability to fit multiple MWDs so that one of them can easily take out an entire fleet by itself while maneuvering near the speed of light. You know, like the good old days.

being reasonable, I think it needs somewhat more powergrid and CPU so it can fit one more artillery or autocanon, to a one more high slot, something like a glass cannon.

For me it's always a toss up whether I go with the Rupture or the Stabber. Given that, I don't think the Stabber is that bad... unless you think they both suck.

Actually the Rupture can fit an excellent tank compared to the Stabber. I used the Rupture to complete missions in Cosmos Complexes that only allowed access to Cruiser and smaller hull class ships.

I agree since it's tank is basically a glass cannon already. That's why I didn't use it to run the Cruiser class Cosmos Complexes.

Stabber is a dam good frame. Fleet Issue, even better. (Fleet Issue mods so well it's almost embarrassing.) Stabber, I think, could go all turret - no spare slots unless you want them. I always thought it needed one more med, as well. It just begs for it.

I like the Stabber, I've spent more time flying Stabbers than any other ship, but "missing a slot"? Compared to which other cruisers?

The T1 Stabber has 14 slots (6,4,4). I Just had a look through the stats of all the T1 cruisers on E-UNI's wiki and could not find any T1 cruisers with 15 slots (I ignored faction cruisers and only looked at the basic T1 cruisers), I did find a bunch that had 13 slots, mostly cruisers bonused for ewar or logistics. The rest had 14 slots just like the Stabber.

If you're going to insist on including faction cruisers to compare to the Stabber, there's the Stabber Fleet Issue which has a 5,4,6 slot layout, can fit projectile turrets to all of it's high slots and has a significantly stronger base tank than the Stabber.

Maybe move one high slot to a mid slot to make it a 5,5,4 layout that can support a more flexible shield tank and a little more powergrid and cpu to handle a 5th autocanon. I certainly wouldn't give the Stabber another slot, it has enough slots already.

I think all the Stabber really needs is to simply change a launcher slot to a turret, and buff PG/CPU accordingly.

SFI needs no changes at all.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

T1 Cruisers should be transitional or throw away ships. If you are a serious cruiser captain, Faction/T2 is where your skills need to be applied. Otherwise, progress to larger ships or go back down to smaller ones.

T1 Cruisers are Swiss Army knives, they can do about everything just not great at any of it.

I fly a lot if stabbers and I think it's a fantastic ship. It's really fast and kitey and has good range and tracking and neuts, my fit even has a web. What else does it need? The thing destroys frigates. The tank may be light but its lIke the fastest t1 cruiser in the game.. Certainly blows the thorax out of the water. If you want to give it another turret hard point I'm okay with it though.
