Thank you for the quick update Golden Gnu. Big smile

Just updated my asset set and see no problems thus far. And honestly I don't expect to find any either, seeing as the program has been running fine for years now.

I do my best to validate each data set before release, but, it have happened before that items was missing.
jEveAssets does not include every item. I try to minimize it to only include available items (to save memory).

@Golden Gnu You're a saint.

Can anyone confirm that assets locked into courier contracts created on behalf of a corporation are counted as 'contract collateral' for the individual pilot creating the contract, rather than for the corporation? Is this intended?

@LSky NLX
Finally got time to look at the code today.
I Assume you're talking about the Track/Isk/Values tools:
Yes all collateral is countered for the issuer and never the issuer corporation.
My only excuse is that contracts are crazy complicated to work with.
I will do a few test with corporation contracts to figure out how they work.
Then I will release a bug fix, if needed.

Thank you for your feedback :)

Am a big fan of the filters for tracker. However is there anyway to save the filter? so that i do not have to go back and uncheck all the ones i don't want every time i open it?

@Blacksmoke16
That is not possible ATM. However, I do not think it would be too hard to add.
But, I can not promise any release date.

Which option do you prefer?
1) Save the current filter on exit and load it on startup
2) Save/load filters (like filters work in the assets tool)
3) Both 1 and 2

For me 1 would be best, as what i set up is only thing i need to worry about. But ultimately having both options might make more people happy as i do not know other people's situations.

I'm going with option 1, until some request option 2. Pirate
I can see the agony in having to change the filters every time you open jEveAssets, I reckon a few people may feel that way.
I'm not sure if anyone needs to save/load filters.

Where is the data for graphs, transactions, etc. stored for jeve I would like to make a back up so I dont lose my previous data and graphs. I have already looked in appdata, documents, etc with no luck (well i found the .emp file in documents).

I need to back up because all of a sudden the text is all oversized and funky looking in jeve Screenshot?

So I would like to know how to back up my data and "reinstall jeve" to see if this weird oversized text thing that started yesterday for me, can be resolved. The weird thing is no matter what jeveassets.jar file I open the same data and Text bug persist.

Please any info would be greatly appreciated because I don't know what I will do with out this indispensable program!

1) Settings Location. That is always the data used, no matter where you store the jEveAssets folder (unless you run portable).

2) Big Text, I have never seen that problem before.

I guess, a few things could have changed the text size:
-Changing the text size/default font in windows
-New version of Java
-New video driver

I find it unlikely that jeveassets should be corrupted to only change the text size.

I will suggest that you uninstall all versions of java and reinstall the latest version from: java.com
Also, if you can, you should try to remember if you installed anything between jEveAssets working as expected and the big text appearing.

I would love to help solve the problem, but, I really have no clue why this is happening for you What?

I can't seem to get the program to recognize any assets in a citadel. The citadel itself is not mine, but I have both my personal storage and corp hangers. Is there something special I need to do to my API or is this a known issue?

Thanks

@Korozaa Akuma
It's not a known issue, because, it have not been reported before.
However, I did read another 3rd party dev post about problems with citadels.

If you could contract me via email, I will happily try my best to fix the issue.
You can find my email on the wiki

hello, has there been any update on this? It doesn't seem the in game station asset search works for assets in Citadels either, maybe that is why they do not show up in jeveassets? it is odd though, as you can browse the assets in Citadels in game....so they aren't hidden.

Thanks for your continued efforts to keep this awesome app running!

Cheers

I have not had time to look into it, yet. I promise I will look into it as soon as I get some free time...

Is the Citadels-not-being-included an issue with jEveAssets, or with Crest?

@LSky NLX
jEveAssets use XML API (Not Crest). I'm confident that It's an issue with the API. The assets are not included in the Assets API call and I have not found any other way to get them.

I did create a forum thread about it here and CCP FoxFour replied he would let CCP Tellus know.
