When the mechanics to extract and inject skill-points were introduced I think an opportunity was missed Big smile

Make a new playable splinter of one of the factions & give them a unique look.

Why? Well now new characters have something the older ones do not. There's an additional appeal for new players and old alike. Older players have a reason to make a new character and either blow their iskies buying injectors, or aurum, iskies or $/plex buying extractors to suck out all those SPs from those unloved or unused alts.

Alternatively, tie the unlock of the race on an account to a drop from an event or a semi-rare site in dangerous space.

No. That's more than this idea deserves.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

There already is an incentive to use them which is the 12x on capital skills... you can take your own sp from a 1x skill and give it to a 12x over and over reducing training time by months... just use a junk 1x skill to constantly train.

I can perform lobotomies for free. But here's another thing they have missed - brain damage!

Injectors should cause brain damages that get copied into your clones and your maximum amount of skillpoints decreases by 30 million a day.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

Oh, that's funny.

FYI, it takes the exact same amount of time to train a 1x skill 12 times as it does to train a 12x skill 1 time.

Incentive to use skill injector: I can use that ship in 10 minutes instead of 10 days. I injected a few to get in fleet doctrines when i switched alliances. Im lovin' it ( far more than mc donalds)

I hope he'd have figured it out if he had used injectors...

Themepark feature belongs in themepark.

... which is probably why they're going to do this in a few months.
