Why not courier double wrap

I've recently started hauling and I'm surprised that the freighter community voluntarily gives gankers an advantage for high collateral hauling.

Take blockade runners, who hesitates putting multiple billions in the cargo hold? Of course its partly because of how fast they are, cloakie etc. but a bit factor is they can not be scanned. It's a gamble a hisec ganker has to take as to if it will be worth it to attack.

Not only are we side stepping contract handling advantages on our hauling alt toons (pending lists, simplified completion) we are giving the gankers an advantage.

If everyone double wrapped it becomes an advantage to contract haulers and a disadvantage to hisec gankers.

We should organized and have something similar to a "burn jita" weekend where we do nothing but haul through the main pipes worthless double wrapped and take our hits on some 1bill freighter losses to put out the message ... we are always going to double wrap!

And then always double wrap

You need to double-wrap, put that inside a frigate, put that inside a deep space hauler, then put that inside a bowhead. Anything less is just foolish.

If I see a squishy hauler with a double wrap I will shoot it assuming it isn't someone just trying to get you to buy a KR.

BR roulette is a thing, not my thing but there are gankers who exclusively shoot BRs, double wraps are not any different, shoot it to see what's inside, you never know what might be in there.

I don't, I just don't put my haulers in a position to be ganked, it's really not that hard.

Your problem is that the double-wrap draws gankers like moths to a flame. What are you trying to hide? They will pop you out of curiosity or on principle so you probably are at more risk doing that than just hauling a sane amount unwrapped.

Now true, if you got everyone to do it you would be on to something, but as it is, it just makes you a more interesting target. So, anyone who signs up with your plan is putting themselves at more risk, not less, and you are unlikely to reach critical mass.

Oh, yeah. The OP. I say do what you want. If double wrap is your thing, do it. There's no shortage of people here that'll tell you not to do whatever it is you suggest. You could suggest we all be good, and make God happy with us and still get a windfall of anti-this and anti-that, and you're dumb and who'd bothers.

Properly operated blockade runners don't get attacked. Just a thing with one of the few really good ships in the game.
