A Social game that remove regional language speak - chat.

Hi CCP, first post after x month even years, the best part of my sub thay i pay, i can finaly wrote a message on forum...

I Lose about x% of my firends that where not my ally- corp members, but people who i meet evey day, day after day, month after month year after years, i lose people who got strong relationship, even not playing togever, somtime they find in random solar system ocasionaly, but share informatin about game, game mechanic, politicks, wars in game, economy etc, share own history, own story, share relaton betwen others etc, talking with group of similar group on x language chat.


Dudes Form CCP i know EvE its a Virtual game about space etc, but come on, we living on earth inside a ******* claustrofobic planet, and some people got need to share - spent time with dudes form same country, fix this asap.

Ps, Still paying for eve, still get hope even not playing, why ruin things that were ok, and good.

Pss. Sorry for poor english, but i hope you got sense.

I am confused. While CCP did remove the official language chats there are plenty still out there. What language are you looking for?

btw you did well in english, above. Better than I do, quite often and I claim it as my first language

That's sort of the problem.. There are plenty.

Some of them with 10 people in it, some with 50, some with 5..and that's just for one language.
And then of course there is the issue with people creating a language channel,thus becoming the permanent owner and possibly only moderator just to quit the game 3 months later leaving yet another "dead " language channel that comes up on the search.

Or giving complete power to the players so if the moderator dosent like you you better hope there is another active channel you can join because a petition won't do you much good in that case.

But yes, there will be some people who are lucky enough to find the actual active channel where they can speak in their native language so the system is good enough Lol

In German the help channel was hijacked for smalltalk.
Whats the problem with language channels? Moderate only when someone complains, ban the offender, finished. Smalltalk over corp borders should be normal, that doesn't mean that you wouldn't blow up each other if the opportunity arrives. Not everyone is as paranoid of spys as mitten.
