AccountBalance - accountID to characterName?

I don't understand why they would give accountID in the XML and not characterID or characterName.. Is there something I can do to translate please?

What accountID are you talking about? in the wallet Journal? that's the isk account.

for personal accounts it's always 1000 for corps it's 1000-1006 which are what they default to ingame as well until people change them. To get the names for corps you can find a mapping in the corp/CorporationSheet API.
