I don't know what i am doing wrong, every time i use my drone on a ded site, the npc burn them in no time, i thaught after the all the npcs target me, i can launch them but it is not enought i think ...

Anyone can advice me ?

NPCs can and will switch targets. I use t2 heavies to do anoms and null plexes without to many issues. The t2 heavies can tank a decent amount of damage. Though lighter drones should be harder for NPCs to hit. One thing i have noticed is if you let your drones sit "idle" and they have been targeted they get popped really quickly. So make sure they are always fighting. Watch your drone list and if one takes more than half shield damage reel it in and relaunch.

Drones require a lot more babysitting now than they use too, Probably because people use to AFK rat/mission in drone boats.

People still do because CCP didn't do the change that would of made it impossible.

Probably more due to the fact most everybody else has to constantly resupply ammo as a cost of playing, but drone boats could just buy one set of drones and skate from there. Now, there's an attrition rate. But, drone users can still control that, whereas projectile turret/missile boats/hybrids still have to dole out that ammo money.

If we get chased by zombies, I'm tripping you.

You can't use them in wormholes. Use lights and kill frigates and destroyers first, then change to medium and kill cruisers and battlecruisers second. Rats target drones bigger than them.

You can use sentries and remote rep them when they get shot. A ship with a RR range bonus lets you RR drones that move. Geckos can tank alot while you get the RR going, so that helps too.
