bla bla bla error using API, didn't read forum post, bla bla bla

Did you try the following which has been posted less then 20 posts ago?

This person managed to make a complete new API key and get it to work, so I'm confident you can as well.Big smile

any ideas??

I just copy "Chars" and "Setups" folder from my earlier EFT folder into the new one.

Voila! Never had any issues with APIs or anything.

Hope this works for you.

If its only newly generated apis that is the issue you are using wrong access mask.
https://community.eveonline.com/support/api-key/CreatePredefined?accessMask=8

Try this. i just made a new key with this and it worked just fine to import to EFT.

Also ive heard other having issues when they do not "run as administrator" so make sure you do this aswell.

Okay, someone please tell me: am I being thicker than a whale Omelet...?

When trying to add API to add skills/etc to ship, I get this error message:

"'4294967295' is not a valid integer value."

Am I really the only person who gets this error...?

Am I doing something so dumb you assume I'll figure it out?

Don't assume. I'm utterly dim with these things.

I generated a new key - same error.

Halp?

The 4294967295 number is the access mask of your API key. CCP recently added another API permission or two that bumped this mask to where the value is right on the 32-bit threshold, so the code probably doesn't know what to do with it. See https://developers.eveonline.com/blog/article/technical-note-integer-sizes-and-the-xml-api

Until Gripen fixes this, use a restricted API (remove some of the permissions API on the key management page)

Does this new version support the fighter squadrons changes ?

For example, If I tell it that I want to use 27 light fighters it says the maximum is 5 ?

Hi, just tried downloading - British Telecom in the UK is blocking the main site as unsafe, and the alternative mirror is triggering all sorts of unsafe alarms from McAffee - might want to scan the linked files please.

Posting to report using predefined accessmask link above worked for me after getting the "Is not a valid integer value" error message.

Been away from EVE for a while so importing old EFT data was not an option for me. +1 internet to Lokitoki81

Отличная вещь! Жалко, что нет русского языкового пакета, даже с кривой локализацией %)

Great stuff! It is a pity that there is no Russian language pack, even with the curve localization %)

Can someone please help me make a custom Damage Profile for EFT?

DamageProfile=Astero,0,0,0,0

How would this look like if the incoming damage is from a max. skill Astero with 5x Hobgoblin II?
(lets assume there is no Drone Damage Amplifier II :)

Thanks!

Not sure how the profile works but my Astero fit shows 99 DPS for 5 Hobgob IIs (all thermal so 0,99,0,0?) based on pretty much max drone skills, no DDA and no implants

dunno if this bug is allready reported but rigs show no requirements which leads that if U equip rigs it won't tell you if you can use the fit or not on your char.

There haven't been skill requirements for rigs for quite some time. You can equip t2 rigs with no rig skills if you want but you'll take full penalties. For example: Auxiliary Thrusters II (rig) gives a -10% penalty to armor amount. You will take that full penalty if you have zero skills to fit that rig but you can still fit it regardless of skills. So at level 5 it would be -5% armor and at level 0 (which you can still equip it at) you will take the full -10% penality.

So . . . ?

None of that indicates whether or not a player can actually use the fit.

You can use the fit no matter your rigging skills or lack there of which is the point I was trying to explain.
