Last time I checked solo PvP was in those little faction warfare sites with timer where you check local, directional scanner and wait for someone to warp into it.

As I have been completely fresh I started with kiting fit kestrel. But I considered rather to train the kiting after few loses. It was always nice to complete the site when someone could not catch you orbiting around the site and then leaved. Sorry to dissapoint people that thought they would get some kills. But it was only me training.
