Problem with getting webbed

My favorite ships have always been Frigates. Recently however on missions I am webbed and cannot get close enough to kill the mission rats. I am using an Enyo with blasters and their max range is not long enough to do any good. I tried using a missile launcher but it does not do enough damage. Any suggestions ??

I tried some railguns but they have a hard time hitting the targets. Maybe I used some that were too big.

hmm, sounds like a tracking issue, try the iskur.

If you are using rails fly directly at or away from the webber, don't orbit, this will help track them. Alternatively use a web to web the webbers Blink so you can catch up and use your blasters.

I have never used short-range weapons for PvE, except for some special cases like Burner missions. In a typical PvE environment, you'll spend more time getting in range than shooting so any theoretical advantage in DPS will be lost. Pulse lasers might be an exception to this rule due to excellent range and good damage of Scorch crystals, but you're not using them.

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

Keep at range can work too since it does not circle the target like orbit does.
