Resetting a mission

I got a storyline mission last night and could not finish it so I figured I would wait until tonight and get a friend to help. Now when I warp to the mission space the Acceleration Gate is gone and I have no way of going to the second pocket where the actual mission is. It doesn't expire until Sunday. Is there a way to reset it ? Missions used to reset during downtime, but I've been gone a while.

Hello and welcome back to Eve.

If you've completed the mission objective listed in mission details in your mission journal, the mission won't reset.

If the mission objective hasn't been completed then the mission itself should have reset with Downtime.

If the mission didn't reset with Downtime, submit a Support Ticket asap :
Select Type = Game Play Support
Category = Game Play - Agent missions in Progress

Hopefully Customer Support will quickly reset the mission for you. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the info. I opened a support ticket last night and the GM reset the mission for me. I hope to finish it this evening.

Nope - they reset it within 15-30 minutes of me opening the ticket. Finished it last night with the help of a friend.
