What if...
when you rat/do missions in a system it will change its Sec status
Shocked
it will rise if you rat/do mission in them (Grind them a lot)
and will become lower if no one use them (AKA "useless systems")
in Highsec systems will go from 0.5 all the way to 1
in Lowsec from 0.1 to 0.5
Null will change from -1 to 0
and back up again after some time

there must be some factor to PVP in the mix (without wars that are approve by concord)
trading/mining will have some affect as well

and behold a dynamic space
players will need to move to less used systems in highsec and lowsec
so the "useless" systems will be better
and the missions hubs will move around
players in null sec will need to spread the ratting to all systems

Twisted

TL;DR
Sec status will change according to use level

Fixed that for you. Nice idea on paper, but, that can be said about a lot of things.

1) Is this a new feature and/or idea? Click the flag on your post to request it be put in the proper forum.

2) The entire ******* point of the current sov system is to concentrate activity in a small number of systems. Why would we incentivize the opposite?

Double post

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

Then the carebears would win, it would be much more fun if system sec status would lower through pve.

Yippee! Another acronym! We really needed another one of those!

If we get chased by zombies, I'm tripping you.

It has happened but only once.

Note that the key to this happening is not going to be highsec carebears, it'll be the nullbears and their farming all day.

Look at my sig line. I have been a proponent of bringing back deep space. Long ago there was such a thing as a "deep safe" - basically a bookmark that could be way the heck out there in AU from the sun of a solar system. There was a trick you can do to bounce a ship way out there. I think the record was 5 light years. You would never reach another system this way because the structure of the game would not allow it. (Hence the "session change" notice when jumping).

Were it up to me™

What I would like to see is deep space in every system whereby the security status changes the farther away from the center of influence you get. So at the main station you are dealing with a 1.0 level response time, like being next door to the police station. The further out you go, it drops, 0.9, 0.8, etc until you hit the edge of the last planetary orbit and for the next 50 AU past that, it's lowsec: too far for the cops to really care, but close enough that they will know who did what to whom.

And then beyond that, nullsec. All in the same system. (and I would make those outer zones nice and dark too).

There would be sites for combat and exploration all throughout with different payouts based on risk. There would even be more gates in these other zones, gates that would certainly be more efficient to use, but risky. And the outer nullsec zone could have cynos, caps, everything nullsec offers. There would even be a thing called "Dinsdale Clouds" (based on the player behind the idea - a cloud that basically cloaks everything in it from scanners and D-scan), dark planetoids with unknown belts, ice comets - ah many riches if you dare.

Of course, the game is likely not structured for that and such changes would be "Eve 2.0" level if that ever happens. Won't be holding my breath. But we can dream.

Bring back DEEEEP Space!

But why? What gameplay value would something like this add to the game vs it's current system?
It would also ruin logistics, as there would be no travel from Null to high sec etc.
It would also ruin PI industry, moon mining, research...., as all planets and stations would be in highsec. Some, but not all of this would be at least partially fixed with Citadels etc.

Lastly, why are we talking about features ideas in the General Forum?
