Just noticed that I have some Capital Sentry Damage Augmentor II bpcs, but with the change to carriers they can no longer fly sentries. The only vessels left that might fit them are rorquals and force auxilliaries, which seems unlikely, rendering them essentially obselete.

Are there any other oddities like this that the recent changes have introduced?

For some odd reason I'm digging the subject line to your thread, OP.

Bug report what?

The items exist, the BPC's exist, carriers can no longer use sentry drones which is a design change, i'm not seeing a bug that needs reporting, care to explain?

BPC and items exist that are no longer usable. If that is the case, they should be removed and reimbursed, or changed to affect all drones to include light / heavy / support fighters.

I can see being removed, but reimbursed is a bit overkill.... If my computer is 10 years old and obsolete the computer companies don't reimburse me for that expired technology.... I have to eat it up.... Same should apply for this game. Technology always changes, things are constantly evolving. Time to take the training wheels off and ride the bike like all the big boys and girls. If something gets dropped, deal with it. That's my opinion anyways.

CCP always reimburses item removals.

Imagine if you had billions or even trillions invested in an item that was removed.

One thing they don't reimburse is research costs and time on BPO. I've lost many billions on that.

Luckily CCP doesn't see things the same way. As Tau said (that's a surname surely, not a given name?!), whenever CCP removes item/BPO functionality they reimburses. It's only fair, really, considering.

Well it is at you said yourself...not obsolete. There are still uses for the item.

Imagine if you had billions or even trillions invested in an item that you and everyone knew was useless.
And you posted about it.
