EULA Violation - Harrassment

After seeing this person scamming under my name, and being informed it was against the EULA i opened a support ticket over 1 week ago, after no responce from CCP i decided to take action to better protect myself and others from this kid.

I remade my corps making sure any name that could be duplicated was owned by myself, and then put both my corps into an alliance.

24 hours later and this kid has tried to copy me again

Those of us who've been hauling for Rita for years can spot the imposter's contracts quite easily, because they're terrible quality, but the problem is with less experienced haulers who can't, and whose bad experiences then impact negatively on Rita's business, despite her having done everything possible to be a good employer.

CCP please sort this soon!

The Haulers Channel is a meeting place for independent couriers where contractors can arrange to have their goods moved and new haulers can learn the tricks of the trade.

Time to step it up, CCP.

You intervened when an EVE Radio imposter was linking fraudulent contracts in their name; now we need some resolution on this one, too.

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

If memory serves, a couple of years ago CCP made a major change to the EULA specifically to deal with the matter of imposters harming the good reputation of others. Unlike almost everything else in Eve, reputations can't be bought but must be meticuously built over time. Unlike a ship or structure, repairing damage to it isn't just a case of throwing some money at it.

As the matter is obviously considered to be important or the EULA wouldn't have been changed, it's surprising that this has been allowed to continue for so long. There is nothing Rita can do about it which hasn't already been done. Over to you, CCP.

Come CCP, as others have pointed out, Rita isn't asking for special treatment, just that you enforce your own rules.

As a new player I sought out information on specific things I knew I wanted to do in Eve and those things brought me to the game. I found tale of Rita Jita pretty quickly and the reputation this person had was impeccible.

I almost picked up one of the contracts issued by the imposters who are harrassing Rita. Had I not got lucky enough to ask about it I would at this very moment believe I was tricked out of isk by this player.

As a new player seeing something done about this would help keep my confidence in Eve Online and CCP. Inaction were hurt my perception and make me wonder why bother building a reputation in game if it is easily damaged by harrassers and bullies.
