Drone bug or new mechanic?

Aloha,

I have been having a number of issues with my Logi drones. They orbit, but they don't actually apply reps. This seems to happen if I put them onto something that isn't a player in my alliance.

If I put them on a player in my alliance, they apply reps. If I put them on a neutral, or someone who is blue to the alliance, they orbit and the drone UI window says they are repairing, but there is no repair animation and no actual repair to their hull.

Maybe that's intentional?

The part that makes me wonder if this could be a bug...

I put them onto a POS module that belonged to an alliance corp, no animation, no reps, but the UI said they were repairing. I had originally assigned them using the "F" key as normal. Then I tried the Right Click - Engage Target on the UI pane, nothing.

Recalled drones into hangar, put them onto an alliance member, they produced animation. Then without putting back into the hangar, sent them back to the POS module, no Reps.

Is this a bug, or do Logi drones now only rep alliance players. No structure and no out of alliance reps?

Thanks

This has happened to me as well. I had 5 logi drones on me, I didn't get repped at all. Not even the icon was showing. Same fleet, different corp. And no, it should not be happening. I've been repped in the past and I have repped in the past as well and it worked just fine and dandy.

If all else fails, try restarting game. I'm sure there's a weird bug somewhere.

Sounds like a bug.

Have you tried switching your safety to red or orange and see if it effects anything? Sounds like a crime watch glitch. Maybe that would make it work in the mean time.
