AK is 'Analyst Kredits' which are the rewards from the new Project Discovery activity. You redeem/spend them with SoE I think, but I don't know as it doesn't really work very well on my Mac so I have avoided it Roll

Yeah they're just the equivalent of LP but gained from Project Discovery. You spend them in the SOE LP store. Trade them and some isk in for clothing, facepaint stuff, and boosters. The boosters are legal in high and slightly better than synth boosters.
