Is there any chance of making Hangar billboards optional?

There are times when some of us need to spend time working in-hangar and I find the billboards to be a distracting eyesore. I posted this in a thread in General Discussion and pretty well got trampled by all the "all ya gotta do" replies but my point is I should not have to do anything. Can we at least make these rather blatant marketing tools optional?

Forum Rep for a bunch of characters, couple corps and one seriously Lost In Space multiboxer.

Just rotate your ship 30 or so degrees, and the problem disappears. I too am not particularly fond of the billboards, but your entitled tone puts me right off from supporting this thread.

They are f.cking annoyingly. EVE is´t TV. pls remove them or make them optional. PLS

Well, they've started down the road of forcing HATED advertising down our throats in their game, so at some point we'll quit over it.

Of course, screen overlays that black out the in-hangar TV area, and hacking the game's cache and input streams to block the ads are illegal. But then, you get banned or you quit cause you HATE ads, same end result.

I'm not for getting rid of them, yet it would be plus for citadel owners to pick the ads that run in their respective stations.
