EVE's music...

For a little over a year now I've been playing without music on and even sometimes, no sound. Lately though, I've had the playlist running ever since I created a new account and honestly, this music is something I've been missing. It adds a certain kind of atmosphere to the game that, I think, really allows you to immerse yourself.

So I just wanted to give props to the soundtrack guys, even though it's been in the game for like a billion decades.

Some of the best tracks are when doing missions and these are not included in the mainstream list. Pity.

Other than that, yes, good psyche eval of the type of music enjoyed by (most, not all) space ship jockeys.

When you get tired to the original eve tracks (even they are good), try "ambient"-tunes @ http://www.di.fm/

Love the soundtrack but it gets old after about 6500 hours or so.

I love the 80's ish mission music too. It reminds me of Miami Vice or something.

Speaking of streaming music, I DO have a station I listen to every so often, I think it's called "Cryo-sleep"

I like to put the music on every now and then to take me back to 2006 when I was hopelessly naive and eve was all strange, confusing and new.

Some tracks are nice, Gallente Refuge is probably my favorite. But over all I think the soundtrack is too happy and not atmospheric enough. I like the darker tracks used for the intro movie and the movies at character creation when you chose your race. They're more moody and slightly more like soundscapes and not so much like "songs". I also like that they feature traditional "ethnic" instruments/sounds.

Eve is now the one that is naive and you are all strange, confusing and old.
