Option to Automatically accept chat and fleet invites from buddies.

It would be great if there as an option to automatically accept chat invitiations from those on your buddy list.

As well as fleet invites.

Also we could really use some sound to indicate an incoming chat message from someone. I regularly miss direct chat messages to me because I didn't see a message was sent until minutes later sometimes. <--- Flame bait.

Many other games provide a chime or some sound to indicate you've received a message in your private chat. EVE could really use this as well.

This doesn't sound like something I'm in favor of. It seems like a really easy way for griefers, gankers and awoxers to find their targets. A buddy list can IIRC include corporations.

At the very least I would like such a feature to be its own checkbox.

you can already set it to auto accept chats from blues.....

i recommend against it though as a lot of the time you wont notice you have been convoed

There's a rumor that the buddy list is going back to the old way in some form. Not totally back, but part way. If the buddy list goes back tot he old way where I don't need your permission to add you, then this would be a great feature and would add a lot of content to the game.

I can't seem to find that option to auto accept from blues. Though an option for only for those on your buddy list would be better (assuming it stays the way it is now).

Yes, I can see missing a sent convo being a problem. Perhaps they could make the private convo tab blink a different color so it's more noticable. Or they could include an option for new convos to appear in a new chat window. Or perhaps you periodically hear a tone (say every 30 seconds) until you first click on the new convo tab.

It's more about missing chat or fleet requests that come in while you are AFK or tabbed away (docked in station of course, since I know how abhorent the righteous among EVE consider going AFK in space to be, and so would consider missing such requests to be in part just one of the appoproriate punishments for such vile scoundrels. I imagine it's also a grave sin to be AFK while docked too, but hey one must give SOME consideration to us evil doers Twisted.).

well chat inv have no time limit and they are more noticeable when not auto accepted and if i'm forming a fleet i would rather it not be populated by ppl that don't even know they are in one

I believe I've had convo requests that have timed out before.

Don't recall how long that took though.
