People Whining about Titan Tracking

Recently people have been whining about how Titans can hit subcaps when they are webbed and painted or when they're sitting far away to negate angular velocity.

Its called TEAMWORK, you should be rewarded when you have people performing different tasks to achieve a goal. This is an MMO game, if you want to succeed you play as a group.

If you're dumb enough to sit still and let a titan lock and shoot you, then you need to learn2fly and stop bitching.

Titans have already been nerfed so that remote sensor and tracking links don't work, there is no further need to nerf it.

Tracking Titans do not have as much tank as a standard titan fit, therefore are easier to kill.

You should stop whining like little carebears and figure out how to properly counter, e.g. use ECM to jam webbing/painting ships.

Use Afterburner ships to reduce hit chance, there is an orbit function in this game for a reason.

I highly encourage CCP to not listen to these whiners and leave Titans as they are.

Whiners should HTFU or GTFO.

there has been plenty of talk of this already but it some cases its not people being webbed painted and standing still i seen a titan pop a tengu that was afterburning with transversal and still got popped ... so there is some issue maybe at times with the tracking but its not as bad as people make out.

One thing tho ccp always wanted titans to be sort of escorted by other classes of ships so using a titan on its own or maybe 2 or 3 with a very very small support group seems strange and maybe the tracking is a bit off.

A tengu would have to be orbiting a long distance to be easily hit without web or paint, so I would say it is pilot error, not the ships or weapons.

That range would be "outside web range", are you suggesting that Tengus should be orbiting inside web range? Sounds like an excellent idea, why hasn't anyone thought of that before you?

Recently, NCdot and PL alts have been coming to the forums to beg on their bended knees for their winmobiles not to be nerfed.

Its pretty funny, the Russians don't cry as much as you do when fighting them, they seem to enjoy it.

In a year of fighting we've not found somebody as brave as they are when it comes to EVE fighting, the rest of you cry like girls, they just engage and work it out.

They cause 20 billion in damage to us in 1 fight while facing 30 turrent titans.

Maybe if you got off your ass and tried for once without constantly being worried about if your pretty ship exploded you might get something done.

That is nice. Would you still fly them balls out like you do now if they had a permanent tracking speed bonus of -50% and explosion velocity bonus of -60%, just like a dread does while in siege mode?

Maybe that tengu you saw had his signature radius blown up by shield extenders?

No, he's right. You're wrong. In fact, I believe the hp nerf that we had wasn't justified at all. They take time to get into and properly fly. They require tremendous effort to built and is essentially an alliance asset. It made no sense why they did what they did. I just hope this wont be a continuing trend with CCP where they actually listen to failures.

As long as it takes for your bots to make you the ISK needed to buy a pilot, hull, fittings and implants?

That's just nonsense. They don't require "tremendous effort" to build - the most work involved is running a freighter around in a cynojammed system. One guy can with a few alts can build titans in his spare time.

Ask yourself, when CCP introduced titans, did they think that this would happen?

Keep up the bleating though, it's entertaining!

im sure all these dictrrs were srationary and not moving at all. fact is that tracking titan can kill mwd and ab ligt dictors, just simpy lock them and cycle guns. it is impossible to kill lone titans when they have a tracking fit with them and you dont have they dps to kill it in 2-3 minuts... titans are solo pwn ships
