Hello all,

After the announcement of increased taxes it got me thinking of a possible better tax mechanic as a whole and while installing some manufacturing jobs I realised we already had one ingame.

Why not create a trade index that increases like the manufacturing index based on how popular that system is for trade. It makes perfect sense in lore terms as there will be a greater need for brokers and they will be working in a busy place, it was also weaken this TRADE HUB mentality I think CCP are trying to move away from slightly with citadels not being allowed in trade hubs.

Just an idea. What do we think?

i like only having to go one place for my needs it lets me get back to my game faster

You would still be able to go to one place to get your stuff it would just cost more in tax (for the seller).

With citadels you'd have to go to other places or still have the higher tax in the npc station.

either the taxs will become high enough to push sellers out or there is no reason for this at all
