Ishtar fit for Angel ratting?

Space friends,

I'm trying to look for a Angel Ishtar ratting fit. I've tested numerous combo's and the rats predominantly do exp/kin dmg...however, on the Angel Cartel website it also states that the rats will do EM+Therm dmg if the security status is -0.7 or higher. It seems the current pitfall of the fit is when those spawn (rats that do EM+Therm)...then they hit hard as S****.

Has anyone experienced this before and if possible could share a fit?

i decline any missions against Angels and for everything else i use a carrier :) when i did use an ishtar though nothing could really hit it, drop sentries 70km away and orbit them with a/b on, what fit do you currently use?

I also use a tengu which is pretty invincible

I started with the ishtar exp/kin fit...then found out about the info re certain battleships of angel doing EM+Therm dmg if sec status is -0.7 and above.


Now im confused...so prob got to omni tank it to compensate for those spawns.

They use em/therm missiles which hit for a fair amount, as an ishtar you will be avoiding most of the kin/exp damage using speed and sig so yes it might be best to omni tank vs angels.
