So can Grendell confirm the sale was legit and went through?

Because as it currently stands, I am pretty convinced this thread is a ploy to distort the public perception on the value of this ship. (give your buddy some incentive to post fake buyout offers, or do it yourself).

Especially when you take into account the previous State Raven sale went on for 7 months before it finally closed for 1.3 tril. But in this thread, there was 2 buyout offers for 2.5 Trillion within 1 day after it was created.

As Lynx pointed out here's the link: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=440218
(by the way, the thread happened be created on the 12th of the month, and it ended on the 12th of the month - but this is insignificant)

If Grendell can confirm, then this will enlighten me and show how little I know :)

Anyways, if I had 10 trillion spare change in my pocket, I would probably only offer 300 - 400 billion ISK for this ship, but that's just my attitude towards AT ship value.

Just saw one for sale for 1T recently. Not sure it's legit or not though.

Confirming I can act as 3r party.

Once I have the ship in my possession and confirm it is real, the buyer can send me the isk. I will then send isk to the seller and give the ship to the buyer. Standard 400m fee will apply, just need to know who will cover it.

Sadly, no Grendell yet... So any sale is on hold until he pops up again... Unless a potential buyer is willing to use Chribba, though I do plan on waiting a few days to see if Grendell pops up P

I am confirming that I am bearing witness to this transaction.

Won't see one like this again for quite awhile.

Well if the sale goes through, then congratulations. That's the fastest I've seen someone make 1.2 Trillion ISK, and definitely opened up my eyes to how much someone is willing to pay for this.

Which is still a bit hard for me to imagine, because even if I had 20 trillion ISK, there is no way I would pay 2.4 for it lol.

It's not everyone's cup of tea. I met my goal of owning one. Might sit on it for a while until the right buyer comes along. The last guy bought it for ~1.8 tril and was banned for rmting... luckily Chribba was holding the ship as collateral for a loan. else we might be -1. One has been inactive for years and Entity owns the other 2.

In 24 hours I will be contracting back the ship, unless the buyer lets me know otherwise.

It looks like I might have been right all along lol, regarding to this thread being a ploy to distort the public perception on the price of this ship, and what people are willing to pay for it.

The ship was contracted to Grendell, there were 2 buyout offers within 1 day because people were supposedly eager to buy, but now there are no buyers.

I was fooled for a moment, into believing the buyout offers were actually real =P

But at the end of the day, if the sale doesn't go through, then the buyout offers are most certainly fake. And Zahara Cody just contracted the ship to Grendell to make it look real.

I've always thought the buyout offers were fake from the beginning, because there were 2 buyout offers for 2.4 Trillion within 1 day after thread was created, while the previous State Raven sale went on for 7 months and then it supposedly closed for 1.2 trillion.

Also because none of the "buyers" wanted to use Chribba, so they had to "wait" for Grendell - but why?
I know Grendell is great and equally reputable. But how come none of the "buyers" want to use Chribba? He has been doing third party for as long as I can remember.

By the way, it's also possible to sell an item between 2 alts using a third party, but it's not very likely in this situation because of the transaction amount - you would need to have both a State Raven + 2.4 trillion liquid ISK.

Grendell, could you please kindly confirm if the sale actually goes through or not - thank you.

Well, if Grendell doesn't confirm, then that just means the sale did not go through.

Because if you read Grendell's posts, he always confirms when the sale goes through.

Perhaps they were fake offers, or just that the potential buyers changed their mind, but think about why someone would make a fake offer in the first place. People do sometimes bid on or buy their own items to make them look more desirable and increase their sale price, but this only works when people are already interested in the item and don't want to lose out.

Making such an offer this early on with a very expensive item, one that may take a while to find the right buyer, and then having the sale fall through straight away only hurts your chances by having the thread derailed by posts such as ours. If you look at the two characters who made offers you may notice they have a tendency to make offers which are likely not genuine, which I guess is an attempt to annoy.
